Symptom
Symptomen kan vara olika hos andra människor men de vanligaste symptomen är
förkylning med feber med slem hosta och ont i halsen som blir värre efter några
dagar. Man får ont i halsen när man andas djupt. Slemmet är grönt eller brunfärgat
och tjockt. Och man blir andfådd och yrsel. Medan barn kan ha andra symptom
t.ex. väsande eller pipande andning, orkar inte leka, kräks
eller blir blek, ont i magen eller att andningen blir snabb och oftast med svag stötande
hosta.
Behandling
Om man misstänker att man har lunginflammation lönar det sig att ta kontakt
med en läkare. Behandlas mest med antibiotika. Eftersom lungorna fungerar
bättre i sittande position så när du sover så lägg en extra dyna under huvudet.
Det är viktigt att vila och undvika fysiskt ansträngning.
Orsak
Den bakterie som orsakas största delen lunginflammation heter Mykoplasma eller
Pneumokockbakterie. Bakterien som heter Hemophilusbakterien orsakas
lunginflammation hos vuxna och äldre med kroniska lungsjukdomar. Rökning kan
också orsaka lunginflammation.
Diagnos
Läkaren lyssnar på lungorna och hör till om det har samlats slem inom ett
område låter lite som rasslande eller knastrande biljud. Lunginflammationen kan
orsaka att läpparna, fingrarna och tårna blir blåa på grund av syre brist i
blodet. Oftast om man har lunginflammation tar läkaren ett blod prov som heter CRP.
Om CRP-värdet är för hög har man oftast en svårare infektion.
Vad händer i lungan när man får lunginflammation?
Det som händer är att infektioner orsakar vätska (slem) som blockerar
alveolerna och blir inflammerade (alveol är lungblåsor som för syre till
blodet). På grund av det måste man ta extra mycket luft in.
Hur blir man smittad?
Man blir smittad av att någon som har lunginflammation hostar eller nyser
på dig.
